Rent frock Repeat: How to Look Fabulous Without Breaking the Bank

For the past few years, I've seen hints of high end fashion rental services popping up around Calgary. The gist is this: instead of spending hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on high end fashion items likes dresses and accessories that will typically only be worn once or twice, why not rent an item for the event? I personally think it's a great idea but have not yet tried out the service. When I came across some Calgary-based ones, they were either renting out designer bags (not my thing) or gowns, which are my thing, except I didn't have anywhere to wear them.

Turns out there's a new(ish) Canadian company that has made the entire process super simple, streamlined, and practical. Launched in May 2011, Rent frock Repeat is a designer dress rental service that you will want to visit often.

You can search for a dress by availability (i.e., available this weekend), best bets, what's new, special offer, price range, size, designer, colour, style, sleeve, dress length, occasion, body type, or neckline. Cross-match this to your desired arrival date and rental length (4 or 8 days), and you can have a fabulous dress for your next occasion!

Rental rates start around $50 and your rental includes two sizes of the same dress to ensure you get the right fit. Shipping to Calgary is $31.95 and all shipping rates include return cost and supplies.

Honestly, I'm 100% sold. Time to plan an event so I can rent one of their gorgeous frocks!
